COOL BASIC GLUE

GENERAL INFORMATION AND PURPOSE

COOL BASIC glue, construction glue, made on the basis of polymer and cement, is used for gluing heat-insulating panels made of styrofoam to mineral substrates.

It is not intended for gluing (reinforcing) mesh or as a final layer.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Substrates made of concrete that is at least 2 months old, bricks, extension mortar, aerated concrete, salonite, etc., must be flat, firm, dry, clean, without weakly bonded parts and greasy stains.

Apply COOL BASIC GLUE in strips along the edges of the board and dotted in the middle, then press the board onto the prepared surface. Strips around the perimeter of the board should be applied in a width of 3 to 5 cm and a thickness of 1 to 2 cm. Recommended doweling of styrofoam boards, as a rule, at least 6 dowels per m². The surface of the board covered with glue must be greater than 40%.

Processing of heat-insulating EPS boards: After 2 days, apply COOL UNI ADHESIVE with a metal trowel in a thickness of 2 to 3 mm to the boards glued with COOL BASIC glue and press the mesh over the entire facade surface. Leave the layer to dry for 48 hours (under normal conditions), and then finish with COOL decorative plaster.

After use, wash the tool with water.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

Store for 12 months in the original, well-closed and undamaged packaging at a temperature of +5ºC to +25ºC.

WORKING TEMPERATURE

The optimal working temperature is from +10°C to +30°C. It must not be used below +5°C, as well as in strong sunlight, wind, fog and rain. In optimal conditions, freshly applied surfaces should be protected from atmospheric influences for at least 24 hours.
