COOL FACADE PLASTER – SMOOTHED TEXTURE Z / COMBED TEXTURE R

GENERAL INFORMATION AND PURPOSE

COOL FACADE PLASTER – SMOOTHED TEXTURE Z / COMBED TEXTURE R is a decorative plaster in paste form, made from high-quality acrylic emulsion, special additives, pigments, and mineral fillers. It is designed for the protection and decoration of facade wall surfaces. It is characterized by excellent surface adhesion, exceptional workability, high strength, and water resistance. It is resistant to weather conditions and UV radiation.

COOL FACADE PLASTER – SMOOTHED TEXTURE Z is available in three different grain sizes: 1, 1.5, and 2 mm.

COOL FACADE PLASTER – COMBED TEXTURE R is available in two different grain sizes: 1.5 and 2 mm.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

SURFACE PREPARATION:

The substrate on which COOL facade plaster is applied must be solid, dry, and free of poorly bonded parts, oily stains, water-soluble salts, and other impurities that may negatively affect the adhesion of the plaster to the substrate. Suitable substrates include all surfaces made of lime, cement, and cement-lime plasters (at least 28 days old), finishing layers of thermal insulation systems (at least 7 days old), and concrete surfaces (at least 28 days old). The facade plaster is applied at a temperature of +20°C and a relative humidity of 60%. Lower temperatures and higher relative humidity prolong the drying time of the plaster.

Before applying the decorative COOL facade plaster with smoothed texture Z, the substrate must be primed with COOL acrylic primer in a shade similar to the plaster.

If preparing a mineral substrate for the application of COOL facade plaster with combed texture R, the substrate should first be primed with COOL facade primer. The primer itself can be tinted to a shade similar to the combed plaster R.

The drying time of the substrate before applying the facade plaster is 6-8 hours.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

Before use, COOL facade plaster should be thoroughly mixed with a hand electric mixer, and if necessary, diluted with a small amount of water (about 1%). Further adjustment of the COOL facade plaster is not allowed.

Before use, it is essential to check the shade, and then prepare the appropriate amount of plaster for the facade area being worked on.

COOL facade plaster is applied with a steel, stainless steel trowel at the thickness of the coarsest grain. A few minutes after application, proceed with the finishing of the facade plaster using a plastic trowel.

For COOL facade plaster with Z texture, the finishing is done using circular motions.

For COOL facade plaster with R texture, the combing is done using circular, vertical, or horizontal motions until a uniform decorative appearance of the surface is achieved.

It is necessary to work evenly and continuously on uninterrupted wall surfaces to avoid inconsistencies and unevenness.

COOL facade plaster is dry to the touch after 6 hours. After 24 hours, the facade plaster is fully dry and reaches resistance to precipitation.

Clean the tools with water immediately after use.

MAINTENANCE:

COOL facade plaster does not require special maintenance. It is recommended to occasionally wipe the surface to remove dust. Dirt can be removed with warm water and detergent. Afterward, rinse the surface with a stream of water. If stains cannot be removed using a soft brush, it is recommended to rinse with a stream of clean water. If the stain persists on the soiled surface, apply an appropriate paint for exterior facade surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.
