GENERAL INFORMATION AND PURPOSE<\/strong><\/h3>\n

COOL 011 Tile Adhesive is made based on hydraulic binders, synthetic polymers, special additives, and specially selected fillers. It is intended for indoor use, for bonding non-absorbent tiles to solid wall and floor surfaces (made of cement, lime, and concrete-based mortar) with high strength and good adhesion.<\/p>\n

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The substrate on which the ceramic tiles are laid must be solid, dry, clean, frost-free, load-bearing, and free of grease and salts. Uneven substrates must be repaired. For absorbent substrates, porous surfaces, and concrete, the surface must be primed with COOL IMPREGNATION (as recommended by the manufacturer) before applying the adhesive.<\/p>\n

MIXING THE MORTAR:<\/b><\/p>\n

Mix the contents of a 25kg bag with approximately 6.5 – 7 liters of water, either manually or with an electric mixer, until the mixture becomes homogeneous and free of lumps. Gradually add the powder while continuously mixing. Let the mixture rest for about 10 minutes, then mix again intensively and add water if needed to achieve the proper consistency of the adhesive. The prepared adhesive mixture should be used within 2-3 hours, depending on the working conditions.<\/p>\n

APPLICATION METHOD:<\/b><\/p>\n

COOL 011 tile adhesive is applied with a notched trowel. First, apply the adhesive with the flat side of the trowel, then spread the applied mixture with the notched side of the trowel with a notch depth of 4 to 6 mm when gluing tiles of normal sizes (10 to 20 cm). For gluing larger tiles, use a trowel with a deeper notch. The surface of the tile covered with adhesive must be at least 65%. Gaps\u2014joints between wall tiles should be filled with COOL grout after 24 hours, and for floor tiles after 48 hours. The open time of the applied adhesive under normal conditions (23\u00b0C and 60% relative humidity) is 30 minutes. Before gluing absorbent tiles ceramic tiles and standard tiles should be soaked in water. The optimal working temperature during tile installation should be between +5\u00b0C and +30\u00b0C. Increased humidity and low temperatures prolong the adhesive drying time. Expansion joints should be filled with a permanently elastic sealant. Drying time for light to full loading is between 24 hours and 8 days. After laying the tiles, immediately clean the tools with water.<\/p>\n

CONSUMPTION<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Adhesion: 2.5-4.0 kg\/m\u00b2 <\/span><\/sup>depending on the quality of the substrate, tiles, technique, and thickness of the application.<\/p>\n
